Cathy Miller, 70, of Elkhart, passed away at home on Saturday August 12, 2023.  She was born on June 5, 1953 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Robert G. and Irene (Scheffler) Roose.  She married Michael Miller on November 23, 2002.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Michael; her daughter, Amanda (Timothy) Dooley; her step-children: Dustin Miller and Tammy Dustin; her grandchildren: Cody Pecher, Jaden and Noah Dooley; her step-grandchildren: Austin, Katlyn, Derrick, Kammy and Jacob; and a great-grandchild, Phoenix.  Also surviving are her sister, Toby (Robert) Rasmussen, and a brother, Robert E. (Karen) Roose, and 5 nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cathy managed the office for many years at Miller Builders.  She also worked at the Family and Social Service Office- helping with Medicaid Intakes.  She retired in 2016.  She enjoyed motorcycle riding and liked sitting on her back porch listening to the birds.  She loved her family, especially playing with her grandkids.  She liked playing with her dogs.

A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
