Charles W. Dimos, 92, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away on August 4, 2023 at home.  He was born on September 8, 1930 in Osceola, Indiana to John and Flossie (Aller) Dimos.  He married Janet Filbert She preceded him in death in January of 2023.

He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda McMillen; his sons, Charles "Chip" Dimos, Jr. and Craig Dimos; his grandchildren: David (Jennifer) Peterson, Travis (Daniela) Peterson, Amy Dimos, Brock Dimos and Chad Dimos; his grandchildren: Gabriel, Nolana, Nathan and Mila; as well as a sister, Fran Gill.

He was preceded in death by many siblings.

Charles drove a forklift for Bayer in South Bend.  He was a former member of the Eagles Lodge in South Bend.  He loved doing all of the outside work- for his house, his daughter and his grandchildren.  He and his wife enjoyed fishing, especially at Lilly Lake in Jones, Michigan.  Charles was a cantankerous nut to crack, but once you won him over, you had a loyal friend for life that you could count on.

In order to respect his wishes, there will be no services.
