Charles Hamood, Jr., 80, of Centerville MI and formerly of Elkhart, died Friday May 8, 2015. The Mishawaka native was born October 1, 1934 to Charles & Sylvia (Roth) Hamood. Charles was a US Army veteran and had retired from Miles Laboratories. He enjoyed bowling, travel and working in the yard & garden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Hamood and siblings, Raymond, Joseph & Glen Hamood; Bernice Vanscoyk and Laura McClain. Survivors include his children, Lisa (Tex) Terry of Edwardsburg and Philip Hamood of Elkhart; grandchildren, Sharon (chris) Davis of Cassopolis, Matthew Terry and John Hartigan, both of Edwardsburg, Kourtney (Kenny) Lucas of South Bend and four great-grandchildren; his brother, Robert Hamood of New Paris and sister, Inez (Robert) Willings of Edwardsburg.
