Charles R. Lamphier

Sptember 24, 1935 - March 6, 2023

Ray served in the U.S. Marine Corp in Korea during the Korean War.  He married the love of his life Carol Ann (Schroeder) October 6, 1956.  She proceeded him in death.  He is survived by his son John Lamphier and daughter Wanetta Lamphier.  He dearly loved his 5 grandsons and great granddaughter.   He was a completely devoted grandparent.   Ray retired from RC Cola.  Ray wanted to let his friends to know how much he appreciated their companionship.  In Ray's own words," I was here and now am gone."  Chapel Hill will handle his funeral arrangements as per his wishes there will be no service.
