Obituary

Charles L. McCuen, 80, of Elkhart, IN passed away on June 23, 2021 in Elkhart.  He was born to the late Lester and Carolyn (Arch) McCuen on February 10, 1941 in Elkhart, IN.  He married Joan Frances Elliott on December 9, 1966.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  He was an avid coin collector, Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.  He enjoyed watching his grandchildren's sporting events and Fox News.  Chuck's favorite pastime was reading the Bible and listening to jazz music.

He is survived by his loving wife Joan; his 2 sons, Shawn W. (Janine) McCuen and Michael O. McCuen; his brother, Douglas O. (Judy) McCuen; his 2 sisters Nancy Fullmer and Peg Young; his 5 grandchildren Drew, Mallory, Parker, Dylan, and Aaron; 4 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his 2 brother in laws, Warren Fullmer and Raymond Young.

Chuck's wish was to pass on these words to his loving family and friends, "Give your lives, your will to Jesus Christ- You can trust Him with it now (today) and for eternity."

A Memorial service for Charles will be held Friday, June 25, 2021 at 11AM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561 with Pastor John Hogsett to preside and Military Honors.  Friends may visit from 10AM until time of service.  Chapel Hill is honored to care for the McCuen Family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Charles' memory to the Faith United Methodist Church 22045 Co Rd 18, Goshen, IN 46528 or charity of choice.
