Christian Nathaniel Guffey, 19, of Elkhart passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014 in Centre, AL. Christian was born on December 25, 1994 in Elkhart, the son of Richard R. and Judith K. (Phillips) Guffey. He is survived by his father, Richard Guffey, Jr. of Elkhart, step mother, Julie D. Ashcraft of Elkhart; grandmothers, Maryland Herald, Rose Willis, both of Elkhart and Karen Guffey of Warsaw; three brothers, David S. Guffey of Utah, Sean A. Guffey of South Bend, and Christopher N. Guffey of Saugatuck, MI, and sister, Crystal N. Guffey of Goshen. He is also survived by two step brothers, Joshua D. Walter and Jacob A. Walter, both of Elkhart, step sister, Amber D. Walter of Indianapolis and niece, Lauren K. Hollowell. He is preceded in death by his mother and grandfather, Richard R. Guffey, Sr. Christian graduated from Elkhart Central High School, class of 2013. His hobbies included anything science related, but especially Astronomy. He was a loving son, grandson, and brother and will be missed by all. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 26, 2014 in the funeral home with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceoala.
