Christine K. Cripe, 73, of Osceola, died Thursday June 16, 2016. The Mishawaka native was born November 1, 1942 to Frank & Christine (Kamm) Parr, the tenth of their eleven children. On June 18, 1960, Christine married Roy N. Cripe in St. Monica Catholic Church in Mishawaka. Christ was retired from Plumrose USA in Elkhart and enjoyed travelling and gardening. In addition to her parents, Chris was preceded in death by nine of her brothers & sisters. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Roy Cripe and their children, Todd (Stacey) Cripe of Granger, Kim (Laurie Shinall) Cripe of Elkhart and Laura (Ted) Smits of Bellevue NE. Grandchildren, Patricia (Matt Hornish) Cripe of Mishawaka and Sara (Derek) Wilson, Kaitlin Smits & Eric Smits, all of Bellevue NE; great-grandchildren, Yasmeen Cripe, Benjamin Jayden Cripe & Taylor Matherly, all of Mishawaka; and her sister, Kate (Royce) Holmes in California. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 Wednesday June 22, 2016 in Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4508 Vistula Rd. with calling one hour prior to Mass.
