Christopher L. Ganshorn, 38, of Elkhart passed away Monday April 7, 2014 at home. Chris was born January 14, 1976 in South Bend and was a US Army veteran. A health & fitness advocate, Chris enjoyed spending time at the gym, but also liked to write, go fishing and spend time with his dogs. He was employed as a cabinet maker at Heartland RV. Chris was sharing his life with DeAnna Middleton, who survives. Also surviving Chris are his children, Alex & Lily Ganshorn; his mother, Deborah Ganshorn of Elkhart; sister, Stacie (Tim) Slone of Etna Green and his aunt, Paula (Roger) Kline of South Bend. Funeral Services for Chris will be held at 7:00pm Friday, April 11, 2014 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Friends may call 4-7pm Friday at the funeral home.
