Clarence W. Bertrem, 64, of Bristol, died on February 7, 2019 at Elkhart General Hospital.  He was born on February 17, 1954 to Elmer and Florrie (Chaney) Bertrem in Waycross, Georgia.  On July 4, 2009, Clarence married Brenda Hoople and she survives.  Clarence worked as a forklift driver for different suppliers to the Recreational Vehicle industry.  He enjoyed woodworking, traveling, going to the casino, and watching the History Channel.  His greatest joy was spending time with his family-especially his grandchildren.  Clarence is survived by his wife, Brenda; his children, Timothy Bertrem, Eric Bertrem, Jeremy (Kristi) Guentert, Rob Bertrem, and Laci Guentert; twelve grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Terrell Bertrem and Robert Bertrem.  In accordance with Clarence's wishes there are no services planned at this time.  A private cremation committal will take place.  To leave an online condolence or sign the guest book, please visit www.chapelhillmemorial.com.
