Clauda L. Clark,77, passed away peacefully Thurs. Jan. 4, 2018 at Elkhart Hospice House. She was born in Mishawaka to the late Norris and Gladys (Platz) Evans Aug. 10, 1940. Ms. Clark was a lover of the outdoors. She enjoyed camping and cross-country travel with her older sister. She was also a fan of Bluegrass & other instrumental music. Ms. Clark was a dedicated mother, a spiritual soul, and most of all, held dear admiration for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Clauda is survived by her daughter, Laura Benn of Berrien Center, MI; grandchildren, Bryan Benn & Stephanie McCallum; four great-grandchildren, as well as her sister, Patricia Heeter of Elkhart. In addition to her parents, Clauda was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard, John, Jim, & William Evans, and sister, Audrey Sadler. Chapel Hill Funeral Home is entrusted with Ms. Clark''s arrangements. In accordance with her wishes, a private service will commence at a later date.
