Cleo Mae Dakins, age 74, of Mishawaka passed away April 18, 2012 at her residence. Cleo was born April 2, 1938 in Plover, Wisconsin to the late George and Mae (Clendenning) Dakins.
Cleo is survived by her siblings, Dale (Nancy) Dakins, Nancy (James) Snyder and Diana (John) Goeller, all of Mishawaka, six nieces, four nephews, and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her eldest niece, Gail Dakins.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. There will also be one hour of calling prior to the 11:00 am funeral service on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, and entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Cleo was employed by the Associates in South Bend, Empire Machine in Niles, Michigan, and Holbert Engineering Company in South Bend as a secretary before her retirement several years ago. She enjoyed attending the Associates'' Retiree meetings, collecting angels and figurines, and working in her yard.
