Mishawaka – Clifford "Butch" Kenneth Lawson Jr., 72, passed away unexpectedly on July 27, 2026, with his loving family by his side.

Butch was born on February 17, 1954, in South Bend, Butch was the son of the late Clifford Kenneth Lawson Sr. and Willie Rita (Isenhower Lawson) Klopenstine. He was also preceded in death by his uncle, Marty Miltenberger.

A 1972 graduate of Penn High School, Butch began his career with Saint Patrick's Metals, where he was a dedicated and hardworking employee.

Butch will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Virginia Gail Miltenberger and Jackie (Mark) Leon Collins; his seven nieces and nephews; as well as many extended family members, friends, and associates who were fortunate to know him.

Those who knew Butch understood his passion for automobiles. He enjoyed spending countless hours tinkering with old cars, always appreciating the challenge of bringing them back to life. He was also an avid collector of die-cast model cars, a hobby that reflected his lifelong fascination with classic automobiles and the joy they brought him.

In accordance with Butch's wishes, no formal services will be held. He will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, Indiana.

Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Butch will be remembered for his quiet nature, his love of family, and the simple pleasures that brought him happiness. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
