Clifford Austin Johnson, age 85 of Mishawaka, IN, passed away April 28, 2023. A long time resident of the area, he was born October 5, 1937 in Combs, KY to the late Clifford Johnson and Mae (Valentine) Musgrove. A proud Army veteran and Airborne Ranger he served our country from 1955-1958. Clifford continued his service to the community by retiring from AEP after 58 years of service. Preceding him in death are his parents and first wife, Carolyn Johnson. Clifford is survived by his wife of 37 years Sharon (Waechter) Johnson, sons; Daniel (Terry) Johnson and Jim (Carol) Ward, daughter; Michele (Kent) Nifong and Kim McElroy as well as 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. There will be no services at this time as his request was to be cremated. Contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice 535 Comfort Place Mishawaka, IN 46545.
