Connie S. Krugh, 71 of South Bend, died Sunday June 9, 2013. The South Bend native was born September 27, 1941 to Eschol C. and Geneva L. (Guffey) Denney; both of whom have preceded her in death. Connie retired as a Registered Nurse and worked in the newborn nursery at Memorial Hospital for 25 years and later served as a nurse in the Holy Cross House at Notre Dame. She was a member of Deer Run Methodist Church and the B.P.O.E. (Elks) Lodge #235 in South Bend. Connie loved going to the beach, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Denney. Survivors include her daughter, Carol Myers of South Bend; son, Daniel (Brenda) Myers of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Daniel Myers, Jacob (Megan) Myers and Kristie Myers, all of Tampa, FL; Cheyanne Myers of South Bend; great-grandchildren, Connor & Jenna Myers in Tampa; her sister, Carol Denney of South Bend and her nieces & nephews and great-nieces & nephews.
