Cynthia M. Calhoun, age 53, of Elkhart passed away on January 14, 2016 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born April 22, 1962 to Dorothy Spencer in Chicago, IL. Cynthia married Adrian Calhoun. He survives. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and was an avid decorator. Cynthia loved her family and will be remembered as being a giving and caring person. Cynthia is survived by her husband, Adrian; her children, Natasha Henry, Theodore Henry, Terri Henry, Antonio Henry all of Elkhart, and stepson, Justin Calhoun of Lexington, KY; seven grandchildren; her siblings, Rueben Henry, June (Perry) Rutherford, Kathleen Goodwin, Bryan (Grindl) Goodwin, Sylvia (Dwoyne) Miles, and Roosevelt Spencer. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 11 AM at the Agape Missionary Baptist Church, 248 West Wolf Avenue, Elkhart, IN 46516 with Pastor Dannell Brown officiating. There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens following the service.
