Cynthia A. Hoopingarner, 62, of Edwardsburg, died Thursday August 25, 2016 at home.

The Elkhart native was born November 28, 1953 to Gene & Doris (Haven) Kirchner, who have both preceded her in death. On July 30, 1971 in Elkhart, she married the love of her life, Bill Hoopingarner.

Cindy was a lifetime area resident, was employed at CTS Products in Elkhart; she enjoyed shopping, cooking & The Beatles and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. Her family was most important; she loved the Christmas season with family as well as attending all sporting and school events.

Cindy is survived by Bill Hoopingarner, her husband of 45 years and their children, Billy (Jill) Hoopingarner and Adam Wayne Hoopingarner; brother, Joseph (Candy) Kirchner; grandchildren, Nicholas, Ryan, Brady and Alexander Hoopingarner, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services 10:00 Tuesday August 30, 2016 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. with calling one hour prior to services. Calling also from 4-7pm Monday in the funeral home. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
