Dale G. Miller, 88, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away on July 9, 2017 at St. Joseph Regional Hospital.

Dale was born in Mulberry, Indiana to Herbert F. and Ruth V. (Martin) Miller and graduated from Rossville High School. After high school, Dale attended Purdue University and earned his Bachelor''s Degree. After graduating from Purdue, he served honorably in the United States Army and worked in the engineering field for 30 years, retiring in 1989. He was active in the St. Joseph County Farm Bureau organization and enjoyed tending to his farm. Dale was a Ham Radio operator and his handle was W9TIL. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church (where he was married in 1953).

Dale is survived by his children, Kathleen Miller, Lexington, KY, David Miller, Chalmers, IN, Douglas (Carol) Miller, Wayne, PA, Daniel (Diane) Miller, Palmhurst, TX, and Kristine (Paul) Swoveland, Lexington, KY. Also surviving are his nine beloved grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two sisters, Alice M. Shaffer and Carolyn S. Pasanen. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife of 60 years, Doris; and two brothers, Wayne E. and Lee E. Miller.
