Dana Dee Fowler-May, age 56, of Mishawaka, passed away Tuesday, September 01, 2020 after a long health battle.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, September 4, 2020 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with burial to follow. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.

Dee was born February 8, 1964 in Oakland, CA, the daughter of Alvin Lester and Kay Sarah (Clingpeel) Fowler Jr.

In the late 1980's she meet David May, a now retired Sgt. of the US Army.  Enjoying travel and their time together, Dana flew to David in Germany over the Fourth of July holiday and knew she would eventually be his wife. They married in Denmark on February 16 ^th , 1989 and continued their travels.  They spent a long stent of time in Fort Campbell, they eventually settled down in Mishawaka.

Passionately devoted to God and her family, Dee took the time to celebrate everything in life.  Many Octoberfest celebrations were celebrated at several locations, she never missed an opportunity to share her excitement and love with everyone she met.

Fiercely independent Dee was a strong advocate for Organ Donation.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, David, her parents, Alvin and Kay; her sister, Lani Rachelle (Gregory Dale) Kirk; her dog, Hondo; her mother and father in law, Eileen Marie and Harold Lee May; her niece and nephew, Jamie Lee (Tyler James) Shoulders and Gregory Dale Kirk; great nephew, Westley Howard Shoulders; God Daughters, Brittany Kristina-Ann (Taylor) Arnold and Cecily Elizabeth Manning; Cherished friends Linda Marie Sheperd who was considered a sister by heart; and Rustin and Jamie Bouslaugh who were considered children by heart.
