IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Danny L
Schult
December 17, 1945 – April 28, 2025
Danny L. Schult, age 79, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 28, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born with a quiet strength and an unwavering sense of duty, Dan lived a life defined by service, love, and loyalty. A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he served honorably during the Vietnam War, carrying the discipline and camaraderie of his military years with him throughout his life. His dedication to his country was matched only by his devotion to his family and friends.
Dan was a man who believed in hard work and simple pleasures. He was deeply respected by those who knew him — not only for his integrity and generosity, but also for his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Whether it was sharing stories over coffee, lending a helping hand without being asked, or cracking a well-timed joke, Dan made others feel seen and valued.
In his later years, Dan enjoyed quiet moments with family, attending veteran events, and cheering for his favorite sports teams. Though he never sought the spotlight, his influence on those who knew him was lasting and profound.
Danny L. Schult will be remembered for his courage, kindness, and the steady presence he offered to those around him. His life was a testament to the values he held dear: honor, humility, and love of family.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Trina (Lenny) Bradshaw, and his son, Roger (Joy) Schult. Dan was a proud and loving grandfather to several grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to his later years. He is also survived by a wide circle of extended family members, lifelong friends, and fellow veterans, all of whom will deeply feel his absence.
