Darlene Kay Hauger, 64, of Bristol, died Monday May 23, 2016 at the Elkhart Center for Hospice Care. The South Bend native was born June 9, 1951 to (the late) James D. & Reda (Smith) Juday and graduated from Penn High School with the Class of ''69. On May 18, 1974, Darlene married Mark S. Hauger in Osceola. She retired from the Bristol Public Library after 25 years of employment; she also volunteered at the Bristol Elementary School library and her church library for many years. Darlene enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, bird watching and a good book. She was a former member of Winding Waters Brethren Church in Elkhart; a current member at Faith United Methodist Church near Goshen and a member of Zion Home Ec Club for many years. Darlene is survived by Mark, her husband of 42 years and their children, Lori M.(Michael) Peli & Alan M. (Jessica) Hauger, both of Elkhart and Kevin M. (Jackie Grove)Hauger of Bristol; grandchildren, Morgan, Joey, Ethan & Jasmine; her sisters, Joy Juday, Cheryl (Scott) Corpe and Deanna Juday, all of Osceola and her brother, Larry Juday of Mishawaka. Funeral Services 10:00 Friday May 27, 2016 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Friends may call Thursday from 5-8pm in the funeral home.
