David Allen Bicknell, 80, of Elkhart, died on August 23, 2018, at home surrounded by his family.  He was born on April 16, 1938 in Elkhart to Herbert and Betty (Williams) Bicknell.  On April 25, 1958, David married Maria Diaz and she survives.  After graduating from High School, David we on to serve his country honorably in the United States Army.  He worked in manufacturing for the Conn Company and then opened his own office cleaning business.  David was very proud of his family and they were his greatest joy.  Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Maria; his children, Maria Pittman of Elkhart, Arturo (Toni) Bicknell of Boca Raton, Florida, Luis (Shirley) Bicknell of Elkhart, Jose (Sharon) Bicknell of Balch Springs, Texas, Theresa Greer, and Francisco (Chanda) Bicknell both of Elkhart; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Marcia Bicknell-Semenak of Canton, Georgia, and Cathy Bicknell.  He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Charles Pittman; and a grandson Carlos Bicknell.  A graveside service is scheduled at a later date.
