David is survived by his mother Mary Carper of Osceola Indiana, his children Samantha Niemeyer of Niles, Michigan & Michael and Gena Carper of Elkhart, Indiana, his Grandchildren, who were closest to his heart, Aubrey, Christy, Lilly, Noelle and Michael and his siblings Debbie, Doreen, Diane (Eric), Scott (Cindy), Andy (Melissa), Ezra Jr. (Stacy), Roy (April), Kimberly, Nicholas (Kathy). He is preceded in death by his father Dickey Carper. David was born on March 26

, 1961 in Muncie, Indiana to Mary Mix and Ezra Buck. He graduated from Constantine High School in 1979. After Joining the United States Air Force David began working as a Radio Technician. While in the Air Force he met his wife Pamela Gaskill. Over the years, the couple welcomed two children into their home and David set about teaching them the importance of love of life and the respect of others. His children remember him as a loving father who encouraged them to never give up on their goals and never stop smiling. David was an accomplished Master Electrician who often traveled the country to pursue his continuing education. In his later years he was a contractor for multiple companies and worked on numerous projects including Nuclear Power Plants, Oil Refineries and Fracking plants. He was a funny and generous individual who loved his family, God, and country and was passionate about politics. Please join David's family for a graveside service to honor their father on Saturday, June 23rd at 11:00 am at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens located at 10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN. A pot luck lunch will be hosted by the family after services at St. Peter Lutheran Church located at 437 E. Dragoon Trail, Mishawaka, IN. If able, please bring a dish to share.
