Obituary

David E. Decker, 68, of Granger, passed away at 5:50 pm, Friday, April 30, 2010 in his home surrounded by family. David was born on April 8, 1942 in Mishawaka to the late Cecil and Melba Decker.
On June 30, 1965, in Mishawaka, he married Mary Bradley, who still survives along with their son, Daniel Decker of Fountain Valley, CA. He is also survived by two sisters, Barbara Buckley of Tacoma, WA and Judy Green of Syracuse, IN and a sister in law, Sue Decker of Niles, MI. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Alan Decker, and a brother, James Decker.
Dave proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Oglethorpe. He became honorably discharged in 1964. He was a member of the American Legion Post 308 of Osceola. He will be remembered for his love music, movies and cooking.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm, Monday, May 3, 2010 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 4, 2010 in the funeral home with Rev. Gary Gaskill officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
