MISHAWAKA - David L. Lashmit passed away Sunday at his home unexpectedly. David was born to Paul and Betty (DeRhodes) Lashmit in Findlay Ohio.
David was employed by Patrick Industries in Osceola IN. as a production worker. David had lived his whole life in the Michiana area. David attended Gospel Center Missionary Church in South Bend where he also served as a security guard. He was an avid coin collector and loved to buy and sell coins. David is survived by brother Paul (Rose) Lashmit and their children Heath(Julie)Lashmit and their son Tucker and Autumn(Anthony)Buck and their children Natalie and A.J.. David also has one sister surviving Cheryl Lashmit. David was preceded in death by his parents. The visitation will be held on April 2, 2015 from 12:00noon to 2:00pm at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Highway Osceola, IN 46561with the funeral immediately following starting at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Jon Ranous officiating .
