David A. Medford, 73, of Orland, IN, passed away on Friday July 14, 2023 in Fort Wayne, IN.  He was born on November 18, 1949 in Witcher Creek, West Virginia to William Carl and Stella Jane (Bogan) Medford.  He married Rosemary Perry on June 29, 1968.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; 2 daughters, Terri Lynne Medford and Christina Anne (Curtis) Tidwell, 6 grandchildren: Alexandria (Evan Hollingsworth), Krystin, Ethan, Steven David, Taylor and Adalynne; 3 brothers: Jackie (Karen) Medford, Ernest (Debbie) Medford and Danny (Debbie) Medford; and 2 sisters: Carolyn (Walter) Overbaugh and Irene "Nunie" (Robert) Pierson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers: William, Frank, Tommy and Lawrence Medford; and 4 sisters: Louella "Russie" Peters, Rebecca Priddy, Karen Fleck and Chloye Faye Medford.

David retired in 2022 from Dexstar after 50 years of employment.

A Funeral service in his honor will be at 1 PM on Wednesday July 19, 2023 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN 46561.  Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Pastor Larry Sonnenburg with Victory Chapel will officiate.

Friends may visit with the family for an hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to Victory Chapel General Baptist Church.
