Dawn Elaine Ward, 68, of Mishawaka, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. She was born on September 8, 1949 in Mishawaka to Martin and Nellie (Young) Ward. Dawn was a member of the Say-What Club and enjoyed reading, painting, and gardening. Dawn is survived by her siblings, Patti (Rick) Balentine, Cathy (Randy) Vutech, and Hugh (Annie) Bowers; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends and family will be received on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 1-2 PM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561. A funeral service in Dawn''s honor will begin at 2 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Nick DeCicco officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pet Refuge, 4626 South Burnett Drive, South Bend, IN 46614.
