Deborah Sue (Smoots) Evans, 68, of Osceola, IN passed away on August 23, 2021 in South Bend, IN.  She was born to the late Ralph and Lillian (Schrock) Smoots on August 31, 1952.  She was a simple and loving mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed watching western shows and church sermons on TV.  She adored her cat "Angel."

She is survived by her son, Joeie (Anita) Smoot; her grandson, Andrew (Jennifer) Campbell; 4 great grandchildren, Elaina, Ceahna, Roman and Milo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Roy Frey and her sister, Cheryl Acosta.

Services for Deborah will be Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 12PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561.  Friends may visit from 10AM until the time of service, with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
