Delores Helen (Sibo) Melton, 89, of Granger, entered into eternal rest on January 10, 2022. She was born on July 9, 1932 in Lowell, IN to the late Harriet and John Sibo. She enjoyed completing puzzles, painting, and watching the hummingbirds. Delores loved the holidays and cooking was one of her greatest joys in life.

She retired from Bendix after working there for many years. After retirement, she worked part time at Granger Medical for a couple years and then went on to work at Judy and Ken's Child Care.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Eura Melton; grandchildren, Anthony Al Berndt, Tabitha Helen Scott, and Michele Faith Harmer; and sister, Bernice Clemons.

She is survived by her children, Betty (Randy) Akins, Carol (Craig) Stock Bridge, Judy (Ken) Berndt, and Eugene Melton; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
