Dennis Aubrey Cooper, 75, of South Bend, passed away on Sept. 7, 2022 in Butler, Indiana.  He was born on Oct. 18, 1946 in Charleston, West Virginia to Denver H. and Cecelia Marie (Jarrett) Cooper.  He married Diane Trumbull.  She preceded him in death Sept. 18, 2008.

He is survived by: 3 children and 4 step-children; 2 brothers, Truman Beverly Cooper and Darryl Hoyt Cooper; 3 sisters: Barbara Ellen Marley, Audrey Fay Jerrell and Nancy Geraldine Larisey; Dozens of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Denver and Cecelia Marie Cooper, 2 brothers and a sister.

He attended Forest Brook Missionary Church with his wife. He served honorably in the US Army in Viet Nam.

A funeral service in his honor will be on Monday Sept. 19, 2022 at 1 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy. Osceola, IN 46561.  Rev. Ron Drake will officiate.  Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family for an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
