South Bend – Dennis Eugene Cramer, 78, took the hand of Jesus and passed away following a brief illness at Tanglewood Trace Care Center in Mishawaka.

Dennis was born on September 11, 1948, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Everett and Mary (Cunningham) Cramer.

Dennis loved playing music on the organ and piano, especially playing the piano at Grace Brethren Church in Mishawaka. Dennis enjoyed watching television and playing bingo. He will be remembered as a loving brother, cousin, and friend who touched the lives of those around him, especially his friends at Tanglewood Trace Care Center and Grace Brethren Church. Dennis dedicated many years of service to Pizza Hut, working in several Michiana locations. He enjoyed serving customers and took pride in the connections he made throughout his years of employment.

Dennis is survived by his sister, Carol Arnold, and several cousins, and numerous friends and associates who will cherish his memory.

The family will gather for a funeral service on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola, Indiana. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, where Dennis will be laid to rest in the Garden of Christus.
