Dennis W. Johnson, age 71, of Mishawaka, IN passed away to be with our lord and savior on November 23, 2019.

He was born on August 28, 1948 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Firmer H. "Bud" and Katheryn Ester (Wenzel) Johnson. Dennis worked in construction in home building. He retired form Ivy Tech Community College as a maintenance man. Dennis enjoyed Notre Dame sports, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, and spending time with family.

Dennis is survived by his children, Mark (Dawn) Johnson, of Granger, IN, Eric (Stacy) Johnson of Mishawaka, IN, Ryan (Carla) Johnson of Mishawaka, IN, Noell Boren of Florida, Garrett (Dawn) Johnson of Osceola, IN, Brenton (Jennifer) Mark of Goshen, IN, and Joshua ( Ashley) Johnson of South Bend, IN; 25 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Thomas (Debbie) Johnson of Florida, Mike (Shirley) Johnson of Indiana, Clarann Gropp of Indiana, Andy "Mac" (Debbie) Johnson of Indiana, and Becky (Steve) Nobels of Indiana; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

He preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Greg Boren; brother-in-law, Jerry Gropp, and nephew Tommy Johnson.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 6:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN 46561.
