Dennis "Denny" Keltz passed away the morning of February 1, 2023 at the age of 73 at his home in Osceola, IN. After a brief but courageous fight against cancer, Denny was surrounded by his family when he suddenly left this world. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend.
He was born to Geraldine and Arthur Keltz on April 20, 1949 in Michigan City, IN. Denny served in the Army from 1967-1970. After his service, Denny ended up in New Jersey where he found work as a cab driver. He then relocated to Wisconsin and proudly managed a shoe store, which ultimately brought him back home to Indiana. Once he was back home, Denny found a career in car sales/management, from which he retired. He married the love of his life, Paige, on March 22, 2003, where they combined their family of three daughters. After nearly 20 years of marriage, Denny and Paige were the proud grandparents of five grandchildren. Denny was the life of every party, cracked the funniest jokes, and had a smile that lit up the room. He loved riding his 2002 Harley Road King before trading in his motorcycle for his final hobby, his fishing boat. Weekends spent at the lake with his wife and family was where he was most happy. And for the record, he also made sure to have the best lawn in the neighborhood. He is survived by his wife, Paige (Buck) Keltz, children, Brittany (Keltz) Wineinger, Jena and Donny Perkins, Becca and Blake Powell, his grandchildren, Lena, Donny "Buddy", Rae, Brody, and Mila, and sister Sharon and Jim Dickey. He is preceded in death by brothers Curtiss and Brian. To say he was loved would be a grave understatement. Denny will be honored during a celebration of life held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN. Visitation from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm Friday February 10, 2023. A celebration of life will be held at 4:00pm in the chapel. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to your favorite charity in Denny's name.
