Obituary

Dennis Morman, 68, of Elkhart passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025. Born to Robert and Eleanore L. (Compton) Morman on February 1, 1957, Dennis lived a life filled with love, adventure, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, finding peace and joy by the water, surrounded by nature's beauty. Dennis had a special connection to nature and loved spending time outdoors, whether it was casting a line or simply enjoying the serenity of the world around him.

In addition to his love of nature, Dennis was a dedicated member of his local bowling and pool leagues, where he spent many enjoyable hours with close friends and teammates. He was always ready for a good game and found great joy in the camaraderie and competition these activities provided. Dennis was also a lifelong sports enthusiast with a special fondness for Notre Dame, often gathering with friends and family to watch the games and cheer on his favorite team.

Dennis's sense of humor, kind heart, and genuine love for life touched everyone he met. He was a man who truly valued his family and friends and made every moment spent with them meaningful. His love and devotion to his family were evident in all he did, and he found immense joy in the time spent with his children and grandsons. His grandsons, Leo and Maximus, held a special place in his heart, and he took great pride in watching them grow.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Glenda; his children, Rachel (Tom) Wegner and Kyle (Teresa) Morman; his cherished grandsons, Leo and Maximus; along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones who will miss him dearly. His legacy of kindness, laughter, and love will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

In honoring his wishes, no services are scheduled. Dennis's memory will live on through the hearts of all who knew him, as a reminder of the simple joys in life, the importance of spending time with family and nature, the joy of friendly competition, and the deep bonds of love that truly make life worth living.
