Dennis Robert Rans, 79, of Mishawaka, passed away at 1:20 am, Wednesday, June 4, 2014 in Michiana Health & Rehab Center. Dennis was born on July 20, 1934, the son of the late Chester and Germaine (Heirman) Rans. On January 21, 1956, he married Ruth Thomas. He is survived by his loving wife Ruth and their four children; Larry Rans of Mishawaka, Denise (Mark) Milliken of New Carlisle, Vicki Maddox of Mishawaka, and Deborah (Terrall) Morros of Marcellus, MI. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a sister, Patricia Kamerer of Mishawaka. Dennis worked as a delivery truck driver for the former Fashion Cleaners for many years. He will be remembered for his love of fishing and watching movies. A private family service and burial have taken place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola is handling arrangements.
