Diana L. Cavitt, 73, of Osceola, passed away at home on Wednesday August 23, 2023.  She was born on August 15, 1950 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Willard C. and Eileen (Brownbridge) Williamson.  She married Bruce Cavitt on May 17, 1985.  He preceded her in death on September 23, 2014.

She graduated from Penn High School in 1969.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society.  She liked bowling and euchre and she loved seeing many Elvis impersonators.  She participated in the Relay For Life every year.

She never knew a stranger and had a brilliant smile that will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by: her son, Ross (Sian) Crowell; 2 step daughters, Tresa (Ben) Plotkin and Lisa (David) Jackson; 2 step-grandchildren; a sister, Pamela (Jim Mathews) Williamson; a brother, Walter Williamson; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, LouAnn Miles.

Friends may visit with the family for 2 hours prior to the funeral service, which will be on Saturday Sept. 2, 2023 at 1 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN 46561.  Pastor John Railton will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the hospice organization of the donor's choice.
