Diana J. Creedon, 78, of Elkhart, died Sunday July 12, 2015. The Chicago native was born May 29, 1937 to Rudolph & Florence (Fortman) Sahling. On July 14, 1956, she married Robert Francis Creedon in Chicago; he preceded her in death on May 9, 2009 after 52 years of marriage. Diana was a dispatcher and had retired from Glaval Vans in Elkhart. Diana enjoyed a good book, working puzzles and was an avid sports fan; always a cheer for her beloved Cubs, Blackhawks and the Pittsburgh Steelers. She cherished the time spent with her family; children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved dancing, especially with Bob. Diana is survived by her children, Cindy Creedon (with Dan, special friend) of Newfield NY, Robert Christopher (Kathy) Creedon of Pensacola FL, Nadine (Dennis) Bednarski of Elkhart, LaDonna (Larry) Borth of Milwaukee WI and William (Jean) Creedon of Elkhart; her sister, Audrey Muharram of Elkhart; grandchildren, James Geary of Miami FL, Rebecca (Rob) McCurdy of Grand Rapids MI, Jennifer (fiance Jeramiah) Payne of Pensacola, Robert (Sue) Creedon of Bartlett TN, Christopher Creedon, Tom (Jessica) Creedon of Ft Worth TX, Casey (fiance Terry) Neely of Bristol, Rainbow (Michael) McGregor of Osceola, Erica Bednarski of Elkhart, Lindsay Borth of Milwaukee WI, Joshua (Johanna) Farmer of Elkhart, Amanda (David) Medina of Indianapolis and Samantha Creedon of Kalamazoo MI; seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
