Diane Elaine Simpson, 63, of Elkhart, entered into rest on January 13, 2022. She was born on March 15, 1958 in Elkhart, IN. Diane loved to go shopping, listening to the Beatles, taking care of her indoor plants, and spoiling her baby dogs. She was a member of Riverview General Baptist in Elkhart, IN.

She was preceded in death by her father, Julius Thornsbury.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Simpson; mother, Effie (Roberts) Thornsbury; children, Michelle Stevens, Kali Thornsbury, and Rashelle Wynegar; sisters, Vickie Rhodes and Lori Elrod; grandchildren, Brandi Latham, Jackson Thomas, Dominick Thompson, and Dylan Thompson; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home,10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Face masks are required to enter the funeral home.
