Donald Albert Doerr

Donald Albert Doerr 94, of Mishawaka, Indiana peacefully passed away on June 05, 2024.

Donald is survived by his children David (Dana) Doerr and Pam (Jim) Stockbridge; as well his grandchildren Josh (Kayla) Stockbridge, Chris (Kerri) Stockbridge and Shawn (Christina) Stockbridge; and great grandchildren Cameron, Kendyl, Cayden, Carlton, Evelynn, and Kaylee.

He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Eva (Rock) Doerr; his wife Shirley (Bosler) Doerr; and brothers Carl and Paul Doerr.

Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army and fought in the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 365 in Edwardsburg, Michigan. He loved to pitch horseshoes, going to garage sales with Shirley and playing the slot machines at the casino. He retired, as a Foreman, from A M General and worked at Martin's Supermarket after retirement.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday June 13, 2024, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, located at 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, Indiana 46561. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am.
