Donna B. Buckles, 97, of Mishawaka, died on November 29, 2018.  The Mishawaka native was born on October 18, 1921    to Almont and Beulah (Shipley) Wertenberger.  She graduated from Mishawaka High School and married Clyde Buckles.  He preceded her in death in 1995.  Donna worked as an X-Ray Technician during her working career and enjoyed all types of crafts-kitting/crocheting, sewing, and ceramics.  She was a "handyman" and enjoyed leading crafts in the summer at Jellystone Campground in Pierceton.  She is the last original landowner from Jellystone Campground.  Donna is survived by her children, Dennis (Anne) Buckles of Colorado and Debbie (Paul) McVey of Tippecanoe, Indiana; 6 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde; grandson, Michael; and 2 brothers and 1 sister.  Friends and family will be received on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 10-11 AM with a service in Donna's honor beginning at 11 AM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN  46561.  Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  To leave an online condolence or sign the guest book, please visit www.chapelhillmemorial.com.
