Donnabelle Keppler, 84, of Elkhart passed away at 4:00 am, Sunday, July 10, 2011 in her home. Donnabelle was born on August 9, 1926, the daughter of the late Elmer and Bernice Niver.
She attended Elkhart First Brethren Church and participated in Elderberry gatherings, helping with the church food pantry and other church sponsored events.
She is survived by five children, Cleo (Louise) Werntz of Edwardsburg, MI, Becky Teal of Elkhart, Jan (Glen) Gross of Ten-strike, MN, Tom (Denise) Werntz of Miss., and Beth Ann (David) Gilman of Elkhart. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and two brothers.
Funeral Services will take place at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 13, 2011 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorial donations be made to River Bend Cancer Society, 919 E. Jefferson Blvd, South Bend or the Elkhart County Humane Society, 54687 CR 19, Bristol.
