Dorothy V. Corrighan, 76, died Thursday May 31, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Elkhart. The Elkhart native and lifelong resident was born June 12, 1935 to Paul B. and Nellie H. (Schick) Neice. She was a homemaker and was formerly employed at Strauss Pies in Elkhart. A member of the North-Kingdom Hall of Jehovah''s Witnesses, she enjoyed recipes & cooking, reading, crosswords & puzzles and also had an avid interest in home & garden design.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Timothy L. Corrighan, Rodney Lynn Corrighan, Robert Todd Corrighan and Frederick A. (Rieta) Corrighan, all of Elkhart; her daughter, Lora K. Corrighan of Elkhart; daughter-in-law, Linda S. Corrighan of Elkhart; brother, Richard (Gloria) Neice of Elkhart; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons, Steve and David Corrighan; sister, Rosemary Stanley and brothers, Jack, Ted, Jim, Dave and Ron Neice.
There will be one hour of calling prior to the 2:00 pm Memorial Service on Friday, June 8, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Osceola, Indiana. Burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
