Dorothy Raymond

BUCHANAN- Dorothy Raymond, 91, passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by her loving family Thursday, May 25, 2017. She was born November 26, 1925 in Sioux City, Iowa to the late Harry and Alice (Stone) French. Dorothy was wed to Charles E. Raymond until his passing in 2000. Together, they raised a large family consisting of nine children.
Dorothy was a dedicated mother and grandmother who cared for all of her family's needs. She loved to shop, read, and in her early years, she enjoyed gardening. She was also a fan of the Big Bang Theory and referred to the cast as her "boys".
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Roy (Jan) Raymond of Osceola, IN, Donald (Nancy) Raymond of Mishawaka, IN, Steve (Sherry) Raymond of Ames, NE, Kent (Kim) Raymond of Elkhart, IN, Bruce (Helen) of Mishawaka, IN, Phillip (Karen) Raymond of Buchanan, MI, Jeffery (Sue) Raymond of Middlebury, IN, and Lonnie (Regg) Haley of Cape Coral, FL; daughter, Stacy (Matthew) Wroblewski of Citronelle, AL, twenty-four grandchildren, forty-four great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
