Dorothy V. Morrow, 97, of Elkhart, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021.

Dorothy was born on April 19, 1924, in Des Arc, AR to the late Eddie and Flossie (Moore) Sanders.  Also proceeded her in death were her husband, Samuel E. Morrow, parents, brothers Doyle, Billy, John, Alton Ray and James Sanders, son Homer King and a grandson, Jeremy (Morrow) Carmean.

On December 22, 1939, in Des Arc, AR, Dorothy married Leroy King, who passed away on August 1, 2014.  They had three children before divorcing in 1958.  On January 16, 1959, in Mishawaka, IN, she married Samuel Eugene Morrow.  He passed away on January 14, 1998.  Surviving are her children Jerry King of Mishawaka, IN, Carol (Joe) King Rager of Elkhart, IN, John (Kerry)Morrow of Mishawaka, IN and Brenda (Dan) Morrow Church of Buford, WY. There are also 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren surviving.

Dorothy was a member of the College Park Missionary Church for over 65 years but had been attending Riverside Bible Church since living with her daughter and son-in-law in Elkhart.

Dorothy was a member of the TOPS (Take of pounds sensibly) and KOPS (Keep off pounds sensibly)organization for 41 years from 1973-2014 to which she finally retired at the age of 90.

During her life she worked in the cafeteria at John Young Jr High School and in the kitchen at the Come and Dine Restaurant.  She enjoyed Word Search Puzzles and reading Amish love stories but nothing took the place of her Bible and Devotions. She refused to go to sleep without giving the Lord His honor and praise and reading His word.

She was everyone's "Granny" and was loved by all.  She has touched everyone's life in some way and will be missed by everyone who knew her.  Heaven has gained a beautiful, special Angel and we will see her again soon.
