Dorothy Janice (Hogendobler) Mullins, 91 of Elkhart, IN passed away on April 6, 2021 in Wakarusa, IN.  She was born on April 27, 1929 in Elkhart, IN to the late Donald and Florence (Bailey) Hogendobler.  Dorothy married her husband James Mullins on September 10, 1948.

Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, flowers, plants in her garden and ballroom dancing.  She loved to fix anything around the house herself, she would take things apart and put them back together.  She loved her career as a hairdresser and had her own salon in her home.  She was an excellent cook and a hard worker.

She is survived by her loving husband James; her 3 sons Jim (Pat) Mullins, John (Cathy) Mullins and Joe Mullins; her daughter Janice (Mike) Mills; 3 grandchildren Sierra (Ashlynn) Mills, John (Stacey) Mullins and Jared Mullins and 1 great granddaughter Gracie Mullins.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 2 brothers Elwood Hogendobler and James Hogan and her sister Virginia Obrien.

Services for Dorothy will be held on Monday April 12, 2021 at 2PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561.  Friends may visit from 12PM until time of service.  Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memory Gardens.  Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy's memory to the Riley Children's Hospital or St. Joseph County Humane Society.  Chapel Hill is honored to care for the Mullins Family.
