Dorothy (Plummer) King, 87, of Goshen passed away at 2:48 am, Thursday, January 30, 2014 in Goshen Hospital. Dorothy was born on November 2, 1926 in Warsaw, the daughter of the late Jesse and Hazel (Kalb) Ott. On December 13, 1953, she married Joe R. Plummer, who passed away on March 26, 2002. On October 4, 2002, she remarried R. Kreig King.
She is survived by her husband, Kreig King of Goshen; six children, Bonnie (Terry) Neff of Orlando, FL, Jean (Steven) Gaffer of Goshen, June Huntzinger of Minot, ND, Kimberly (James) Butler of Goshen, Debra (Kim) Grant of Middlebury and Joe (April) Plummer of Elkhart. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Dorothy loved to hear Krieg play the organ and often volunteered to help serve meals at Maples Rehab Center. She and Krieg loved to travel.
There will be no visitation or service. Her ashes are to be entombed in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola at a later date. Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola is handling arrangements.
