ELKHART- Dorothy Robison 92 passed away Sunday at Golden Living Center in Elkhart. She was born to Ernest and Lena (Knasel) McCormack in Clark County IN. Dorothy married Charles Robison Sr. December 11, 1943 and together they would raise one son and two daughters. Dorothy attended Osceola Church of the Brethren for many years. Dorothy was a food service worker for Penn Harris Madison school district. She was a very giving person by volunteering her time at nursing homes, being a foster parent and teaching children''s Sunday school. Dorothy really liked visiting with friends and family on Sunday''s and studying the Bible. One thing she liked especially was creating well balanced meals for her family. Lets also not forget her gardening and fishing she loved. Dorothy is survived by son Charles (Janet) Robison, daughter Judy (Michael) Pitts eight grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren and a sister Velma Campbell and four foster children Carrol Conklin, Vickie Bevens. Phyllis Wagner and baby Karen. She was preceded in death by her Husband, parents, daughter Linda Arata, brothers David McCormack, George McCormack, Charles McCormack, Robert McCormack, sisters Katherine Griggs, Florence Griggs and granddaughter Michele Essington. A gathering of friends and family July 8, 2016 12:00pm-2:00pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Highway Osceola IN. 46561 with funeral service starting immediately at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jerry Brenneman officiating.
