Douglas Don Mell, 56, of South Bend, died Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. The South Bend native was born October 23, 1960 to Wilbert and Margaret (Kauffman) Mell Sr., who have both preceded him in death. Doug attended the Logan School and participated in events with Logan Center. Doug is survived by his sister, Sandra Gibbney of Indiana and a brother, Arthur (Martha) Mell of Mishawaka. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Steven Mell. In honor of Doug''s wishes, no services are planned at this time.
