Earl Delbert Spaid, 89, of Ekhart, passed away on Saturday July 2, 2022 at home.  He was born on May 16, 1933 in Walkerton, IN to Alva and Ruth (Miller) Spaid.  He married Christina Rowton on Apriol 27, 1991.

Earl is survived by his wife, Christina;5 sons: Danny (Carol) Spaid, Dean Spaid, Wade Ward, Robert Marchand and Russell (Emily) Marchand; 4 Daughters:Deborah (Gene) Oller, Rhonda (Dwayne) Hall, Mischelle Johnson and Robin Felder; 25-plus Grandchildren and 25-plus Great-Grandchildren; 9 Great-Great-Grandchildren; 3 brothers: Russell (Eva), Louie (Kris) and David (Kris) Spaid; and well as 3 sisters: Donna (Joe) Paone, Connie (Joe) Castro and Nona Kuhn.

Earl was preceded in death by 3 Daughters: Carol Ann and Mary Ann Spaid and Teresa Sprague; and a brother, Richard Spaid.

Earl served his country honorably in the US Army.  He was a member of the Osceola American Legion.  He enjoyed building things and was a "jack of all trades."  He was a Maintenance Superintendant.

Friends may visit with the family from 11-1 PM on Friday July 8, 2022 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN 46561.

A Funeral Service in his honor will be at 1 PM on Friday July 8, with Pastor Chris Garner officiating.  Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Heart to Heart Hospice.
