Easielean served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War Era before his discharge in 1954. He was self employed as a plumber for many years, and also worked at Holiday Rambler in Elkhart for several years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as spending time with all his grandchildren, each for whom he had a nickname.

Easielean gave his heart to the Lord in 1983, and accepted Him as his personal Savior at the Greater Wayside Church in Elkhart. He was a faithful member and Usher at the Church for many years, and stood strong in his faith until the Lord (or "The Big Boss" as he would say) called him home to Heaven.
