Pastor Edgar Allen, 93, of Mishawaka passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Heritage Memory Care.  He was born in Jasonville, IN on October 22, 1927 to the late Walter Glen and Mary E. (Clark) Allen.  He graduated from Mishawaka High School, attended Notre Dame University, and graduated Berean School of the Bible.  He married Phyllis (Feltz) Allen on May 15, 1949 and proudly served in the United States Army.

Edgar was ordained and served the Indiana District Assemblies of God in many capacities.  He started in ministry as the Sr. Pastor of Bremen Assembly of God and Logansport Assembly of God.  He then served as the Sr. Pastor of Covington First Assembly of God for 31 years and was also the Sectional Presbyter for the Western Indiana Central Region responsible for overseeing multiple churches and Pastors.  He then served as the Assistant Pastor for Franklin First Assembly of God and Elkhart Bethel Assembly of God and finished his ministry as the Interim Pastor at South Bend New Life Assembly of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Juanita Smith, Gertrude Dickey, and Marilyn Allen.

He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Phyllis (Feltz) Allen; daughters, Judy Lund (Larry) and Karen Curtis (Phillip); grandchildren, Chad Lund (Cassie), Jonathan Lund (Lee Anne), Justin Curtis (Erin), and Ryan Curtis (Buffy); great grandchildren, Nolan Curtis, Norah Curtis, Declan Curtis, Daxton Curtis, and Massie Lund; and sister Ruth Van Dusen (Charles).

A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 8 th from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home located at 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 9 th at 11:00 AM at Journey Church located at 12100 Adams Road, Granger, 46530.  Burial to follow the Funeral Service at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
